No, your eyes do not deceive you. There was an f-ing mouse in my bed, along with mouse sh*t and piss. I am not happy. I thought we had taken care of the mouse issue...clearly not. All I wanted to do was grab my computer of my bed and take advantage of my new satellite internet (yes, I currently live in the boonies, where the only way to get high-speed internet is by satellite). Anyway, I grab my computer and all of sudden, a small gray creature explodes from out of nowhere and darts across my bed and pillows and disappears. There are currently 7 mousetraps in my bedroom. I don't want to sleep in my bed because a mouse might crawl on me, or in the alternative, I might be asleep and I might be awakened by the snap of a mousetrap. Bleck, bleck, bleck... Maybe I should've moved in with my parents, even though that would have been lame.

As a side note, I'm down 2.2 lbs. this week. Yay. At least one thing has gone right today.

Down 2

I was suprisingly down 2 lbs. this week. I haven't really been OP, but I guess I haven't been eating like a pig either. This coming week I am going to be OP and make my return to the gym...hopefully.

I'm going to be house/cat-sitting on the other side of C-bus for the next 6 days, so I need to find a YMCA closer to Morse Rd./Easton. I'm not going to drive all the way to Hilliard to use the gym, especially since I'm already driving to/from Morrow Co. everyday. We shall see...

Mental Block

Apparently, I have a mental block that inhibits my ability to lose the remaining 3.5 lbs. to get my 50 lb. star. I have been within 3.5 lbs. of my 50 lbs. star at least three times in the last three months and each time I hit a wall and gain weight back instead of losing it. This time I am truly embarassed to admit how much weight I have gained over the past two weeks. Who knew you could gain so much in fourteen days? Okay, here it is ~ 7.4 lbs. I keep trying to tell myself it's just a number. That's what my WW leader said last night when she weighed me in. It's not really helping. It might be just a number, but it's an extremely large and ugly number.

So it's a good thing that this week is the kick off week of the Bringing Sexy Back challenge. I'm very excited! It will keep me motivated. I started this blog at the end of the last challenge, which was the last time I continuously lost weight over an extended amount of time. Go figure.

In any case, I suspect that once I begin to stay OP and make my return to the gym (and treadmill #13 - it misses me), that the horrendous amount of weight that I've gained will go away. I haven't been OP or to the gym in 2 weeks. Moving really messes with your schedule. It's a pain in the arse.
